The Best Driver Training in Canada

Young Drivers of Canada's Kitsilano instructors understand what you will be facing when driving and will provide you with the confidence to drive defensively and pass your driving test. Young Drivers offers beginner driver education courses to help you pass your driver's license test, teach you how to avoid collisions, as well as providing defensive driving training. As one of Canada’s top driving schools, we believe that your driving lessons have to include emergency maneuvers and techniques to prevent the consequences of distracted driving.

ICBC Approved GLP Driving Course

YD Burnaby offers the ICBC approved drivers ed courses. Upon completion of this ICBC (GLP) driver training course, you can receive six months off your N stage if you are a safe driver with no at-fault crashes, driving violations or prohibitions. In addition, by completing the GLP driver training course, you could also receive two high school credits. In order to be eligible, this driver training course must be completed within a year from start to finish while in the learner stage of GLP.

Position: Full-Time In-Car Driving Instructor

In this position, you will be teaching in-vehicle driving lessons to our customers. We also welcome applicants who have already obtained a British Columbia Driving Instructor License.

Requirements: 

  • A good driving record with a valid British Columbia Driver Licence
  • 5+ years driving experience at the Class 05 Level
  • No criminal record convictions
  • Acceptable driver medical report
