Young Drivers Barrie Driving School

Young Drivers Barrie Ministry Approved Driving Lessons

We offer the most comprehensive driver training courses in Canada including Young Drivers exclusive in-car emergency maneuvers techniques training.

First, we teach why crashes happen and how to prevent them. Then, we teach students life-saving skills to recognize the risks on the road and to respond effectively. Students will learn the skills and experience them with hands-on YD instructors both in the classroom and behind the wheel.

In-class sessions are held in the evenings or during the day or on Saturdays. The in-car portion is always done ONE-ON-ONE at your own pace and scheduled at your convenience.  

We offer a flexible payment plan to help with any budget.

Finding Young Drivers Barrie

Our Barrie classroom is located in suite #1010, 74 Cedar Pointe Dr., Barrie. We're located in the Cedar Pointe Business Park, Building #74 which is the last building on the left when entering from Dunlop St. We are just past the Bell Mobility and Rogers stores. Cedar Pointe Business Park is located at the intersection of Dunlop St. West (also known as Highway 90) and Highway 400. 

When approaching from the South on Highway 400, take exit 96B which is the Dunlop St. West exit. The exit ramp runs under the overpass bridge and circles around leading onto Dunlop St. W. Go over the bridge and turn right at the first stoplight which is Cedar Pointe Dr.  

If you're heading South on Highway 400, take exit #96. The exit ramp leads to a stoplight. Proceed through the light. You will be entering into Cedar Pointe Business Park. Continue along to the last building on the left which is building #74. 

G Road Test Prep Lessons

For those going for their G road test, we offer individual in-car sessions to help brush up your driving skills and prepare you for this very challenging road test.

Winter Driving Lessons

We also offer in-car sessions for licensed drivers wanting to know how to handle winter driving and other adverse weather conditions.
